1. As an elected official, what role could you play to promote the use of public spaces for gardens and botanical features that could support beneficial wildlife, like pollinators and native plants?

As parents, my wife and I enjoy taking our children to gardens as a way of introducing them to nature and the world around us. As a council member, I think building these types of spaces here would be great as a way to enrich the city and provide a way for residents to enjoy the environment and explore their interest in gardening.

2. How could future developments in Irving like the old Texas Stadium site be incentivized to include green spaces and botanical elements?

Including elements of natural beauty in future development is a matter of priority and partnering with the right developers - we need council members who will be tough negotiators for these kinds of spaces in proposed plans.

3. What are some of your favorite places to enjoy nature in Irving / the DFW area?

We have enjoyed visiting the Grapevine Botanical Garden and the Dallas Arboretum.
